A collection of visually driven works inspired by nature and everyday moments made with still imagery and motion. These pieces would reveal the hidden beauty, unexpected details through color, light, composition and content.
The concept would involve launching a micro-film on a Thursday as a refer to the Sunday Serendipity section. The accompanying still imagery would be seamlessly extracted from the film footage creating a cohesive visual experience across both digital and print platforms.
It would be awesome to include a young staffer wanting to push their comfort zone of traditional reporting by accompanying the visuals with a more personal essay style of writing.
This is one of several motion-content concepts I have developed and envision as part of a broader multimedia strategy. The approach could easily be adapted to support future Spokesman-Review projects, initiatives, and editorial concepts.
