I started my photographic life at age 15 when I was first published in my hometown newspaper in Western Pennsylvania.
Since then, I have worked at 11 different publications from Maine to Washington. Along the way in those 25 some years I collected 11 Photographer of the Year titles including POYI International Newspaper of the Year honors in the 59th POYI competition sponsored by the University of Missouri. However, those accolades pale in comparison to my better half "Rabbit" who still is a staff photojournalist at the S-R. She along with my son Jordan they have championed my day in and day out passion, obsession and determination for being a visual storyteller since leaving the print world 11 years ago. I believe that when one becomes confident and settled in a particular style it's best to set the bar higher and move on. The world of motion is rewarding, frustrating, exhausting and I love every moment of it. I meticulously practice my craft no less than 10 hours a day every day. I'm more passionate about photography now than I have ever been before.

With that said here are some of my clients along the past few years...
Itron / Big Brothers and Sisters of the Inland Northwest / Saint Vincent De Paul of North Idaho / Lutheran Community Services  /  Holy Family Catholic School / TESH /
Double J Dog Ranch / Armstrong Racing / Riverview Retirement Community / 1964 Films / 2nd Harvest - Feeding America / Trinity Housing / PAWN 1 / Washington State Beef Commission / Northwest Autism Center  / BOOM CREATIVE - as DP when needed.
I currently have been the DP for the ITVS funded film "The Blackfeet Flood" that took some 5 years to film. It's international debut was this past November on PBS.
